: The Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) wishes to advise our valued customers that effective January 1, 2016, it will be mandatory for licensed firearm holders to prove to the Authority that they completed the “FLA Firearm Safe Use and Handling Assessment”

Marking of Privately owned Firearms
: In accordance with the Corporation Agreement between the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States and the Government of Jamaica, ALL privately owned firearms will be marked with specific codes with immediate effect.
